Ashley Sims has been part of the Williams team since January 2006. Outside of church, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Cason, and their two children, Gracelyn and Cadon. Ashley also works at Texarkana ISD as a 504 specialist and has over 20 years of experience working with children. She loves watching the kids find joy in the simplest things—it reminds her to look for the good in every day. 

Candice Abercrombie has been serving at Williams since January 2006. She loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and her two children, Gunnar and Presley. Candice is also a teacher at Texarkana ISD and brings over 20 years of experience working with children.

Holly Gamble has been with Williams since May 2024 and brings 19 years of experience working with children. She loves watching kids mature, learn, and discover new things. Holly works at Pleasant Grove Intermediate School and also serves at Williams Preschool. In her free time, she enjoys reading and going for walks. She is married to her husband, Robert, and together they have six children: Emma, Camden, Jessie, Bella, Riley, and Makenzie.  

Michelle Madrid joined Williams in June 2023 and works at Williams Preschool. She has six years of experience working with children and loves making their days brighter. In her free time, Michelle enjoys working out, going for walks, and spending time with her mom, sister, niece, and nephew. 

Theresa Perez-Wells has over 25 years of experience working with children and finds joy in watching them grow into kind, loving individuals. She believes that while teaching kids, we also learn from them—seeing the world through their eyes filled with love, laughter, and wonder. Theresa joined Williams in July 2024. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, who mean the world to her. She and her husband, Keith, have been married for 20 years and have three sons: Edward, Christian, and Jacob. She also works with Farmers Insurance, where she has built a 25-year career.  

Mariah Shearin joined Williams in July 2024 and has been working with children for 7 years. She loves seeing the world through the eyes of children and finds joy in their creativity and wonder. Mariah believes it's a blessing to help plant seeds of faith in the hearts of our little ones and watch their love for Jesus grow. She enjoys exercising and expressing her creativity by designing custom shirts. Mariah is engaged to her best friend, Edward, and they share their home with their sweet dog, Milo. She is also the oldest of ten siblings—five girls and five boys—which has shaped her deep love for working with kids.  

Merissa Smith joined the Williams team in June 2023 and has been working with children for 17 years. She is a Kindergarten Assistant at Texarkana ISD and loves watching kids grow and learn. In her free time, Merissa enjoys spending time with her family and her daughter, Hadley.

Rhonda Spangler has been part of the Williams team since March 2023. She has dedicated her life to working with children and currently serves with the Department of Children and Family Services, where she’s passionate about giving kids opportunities they might not otherwise have. Rhonda loves spending time with her family, relaxing, and teaching children about God's love. She is a proud mom of four and grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren.
